DePiction Photography was founded in 2004 by Hardip Singh, a self-schooled photographer who has been actively involved in photography since 1992. He spent much of his teenage years dabbling with a trusty Yashica FX-7 that was inherited from his dad, who incidentally is a photography enthusiast too.

Over the years, Hardip’s penchant for photography and quality of work was gradually recognized by his family and peers. The recommendations led him to a myriad of private and commercial assignments, from wedding photography to corporate events, editorial, food, fashion and interior. This went on for over a decade without a penny spent on print or electronic advertising!

The inception of DePiction Photography was a move to formalize Hardip’s photography practice and to meet the demands of his discerning clientele. Today, DePiction Photography is armed with full-fledged digital technology equipment, state-of art mobile studio and a modern image-editing suite.
 

Firstly, Hardip is a photographer by passion and NOT by profession.
We are not in the commercial rat-race! No photography assignment is too small for us. We render our service with utmost dedication and respect for our customers. So it's no secret that our competitive edge is in building long-lasting relationships with our clientele. We're nice people! :-)

Secondly, minimum operational costs and low overheads.
Our nature of work does not require us to own or rent commercial premises. With our mobile studio setup, we work at any location that is convenient to you. Also, we don't commission additional hands or outsource jobs. This translates to greater savings for you and me! Why pay more? :-)

Thirdly, behind the busy Hardip is his creative (and gorgeous) wife Ruby!
If you're wondering what's this got to do with you, read on! This factor greatly concerns our work. While Hardip concentrates on the technical aspects of photography, it is Ruby who injects the aesthetics potion into all assignments. From subject arrangement to colour coordination, Ruby knows what's best to give your photos that WOW-factor! :-)
